XVIII Century Historical Reenactment.![]() Aetas Rationis is an association dedicated to the study and divulgation of the History and Culture of the eighteenth century, mainly from the field of historical reenactment.
In this regard, the statutes of the association define the historical reenactment as "the representation of past events of all kinds that can help today to the better understanding of the significance and impact that those events were for men and women who lived it and to the historical development of our society. " But the Reenactment is much more than that. Sometimes is called "Living History," a term that literally represents the nature of this activity: from within, it allows its practitioners to experience the daily life of people of past eras; from outside, it aproach to the spectators a close knowledge about how this daily life was. As a starting point, the association will reconstitute the Regiment Aragon, whose informatio can be read in the appropriate section. The historical Reenactment -and, by extension, the association Aetas Rationis- has not any religious, political or militaristic goals. Aetas Rationis is an association open to people from all walks of life, without discrimination of any kind. |
